1. Who We Are

AI Funnelpreneur is operated by Funnels Genius ("we," "our," or "us"), the data controller responsible for your personal information. Funnels Genius is run by Pedro Moreira, an independent sole trader (trabalhador independente) based in Portugal. You can reach us by email at support@funnelsgenius.com.

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect your personal information when you visit our website, request beta access, create an account, or use the AI Funnelpreneur course platform.

2. Information We Collect

Information you provide:

• Account details: your name, email address, and password (credentials).
• Payment information: when you buy the course, your payment is processed by Stripe. We do not store your full card details on our servers.
• Profile and content: language preference, avatar, support messages, and content you post in the platform (such as squad and livestream chat messages and your notes).

Information collected automatically:

• Aggregate, privacy-friendly usage statistics (such as page views) collected via Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is cookieless and does not track you across other websites.
• Video playback analytics (via Mux) and your course and recording progress.
• Technical data such as your IP address and device or browser information, used to deliver the service and keep it secure.

Marketing attribution: if you arrive from an ad or email, we read campaign tags from the link (UTM tags and ad-click identifiers such as Facebook fbclid and Google gclid). When you click "Get beta access," these tags are forwarded to our external enrolment funnel at funnelsgenius.com so we can understand which campaigns work.

3. Cookies & Local Storage

We do not use third-party advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. We use first-party browser storage (local and session storage) for essential and functional purposes only, for example to keep you signed in, remember your language and interface preferences, and hold your campaign attribution during your visit. Our analytics provider (Cloudflare Web Analytics) is cookieless.

4. How We Use Your Information & Legal Bases

Where the GDPR applies, we rely on the following legal bases to process your personal information:

• Performance of a contract: to create and manage your account and to provide the course and platform features.
• Legitimate interests: to keep the service secure, prevent fraud, measure aggregate usage, and understand which marketing campaigns work.
• Consent: to send you marketing and promotional emails. You can withdraw your consent at any time, for example via the unsubscribe link in any email.
• Legal obligation: to comply with applicable laws and respond to lawful requests.

5. Sharing Your Information

We share personal information only with service providers ("processors") that help us run AI Funnelpreneur, and only as needed to provide the service:

• Cloudflare: website hosting, content delivery, and cookieless analytics.
• Supabase: authentication, database, and file storage.
• Mux: video hosting, streaming, and playback analytics.
• LiveKit: live video sessions.
• Bento: sending account and marketing emails.
• Stripe: payment processing.

When you click "Get beta access," you are taken to our external enrolment funnel at funnelsgenius.com, and the campaign tags described above are passed to it. That funnel and its checkout are governed by their own terms and privacy notice.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.

6. International Transfers

Our primary database and file storage (Supabase) are hosted in the European Union. Some of our other service providers are located outside the European Economic Area (for example, in the United States). Where personal information is transferred internationally, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.

7. Data Retention

We keep your personal information only for as long as necessary for the purposes described in this policy. In general, we keep account data while your account is active and delete or anonymize it within 12 months after you close your account or ask us to delete it. We keep billing and tax records for up to 10 years where required by Portuguese and EU law, and we keep aggregate analytics that no longer identify you.

8. Your Privacy Rights (GDPR)

If you are in the EEA or UK, you have the following rights over your personal information:

• Access: request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
• Rectification: ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
• Erasure: ask us to delete your personal data, under certain conditions.
• Restriction: ask us to limit how we process your data.
• Data portability: receive your data in a portable format, or have it transferred where technically feasible.
• Object: object to processing based on our legitimate interests, including direct marketing.
• Withdraw consent: withdraw any consent you have given, at any time, without affecting earlier processing.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at support@funnelsgenius.com. We will respond within one month. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. In Portugal, this is the CNPD (Comissão Nacional de Proteção de Dados).

9. US/California Privacy Rights (CCPA/CPRA)

If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information we collect, to request access to it or its deletion or correction, and to opt out of any "sale" or "sharing" of personal information. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. To make a request, contact us at support@funnelsgenius.com. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.

10. Children's Privacy

AI Funnelpreneur is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 18. If you believe a child has given us personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

11. Data Security

We use appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information, including encryption in transit and access controls. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date above and, where appropriate, let you know. Continuing to use the service after an update means you accept the revised policy.
